Seriously.
It's a simple, short novella written by Gene Wilder. I came across this in my local library when it first came out last year. While I almost passed over it because of the title, I noticed the author and was intrigued enough to read the jacket description. I then checked the book out and devoured it in two days (I'm a bit of a slow reader). It's written in a simple, short, too the point dialect (think Hemingway). Even though not a lot of description is given in the book, you really get to know the characters and their feelings.
If you are looking for a well written, quick read I strongly suggest picking up this book. It moved me enough to place it firmly in my top five books read of all time.
