On Being Thankful

Dear Constant Reader,

I'll admit this past month has been really strenuous on me. Work has been a bear. I have been dealing with constant pain in my knee. It's starting to get cold outside. AND the Buckeye's lost a very disappointing game.

The nice thing about this time of year is that it lends itself to a little self reflection. If you're doing it right, you take a look around you and try to appreciate all that you do have that is wonderful and good.

I could sit here and make a long list of the things I am most thankful for, but I did that a couple of years ago (and it's still one of my favorite blog posts) so I won't bore you with that. All I will do is encourage you to take stock of what you have and find the beauty in it all.
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. ~ Ferris Bueller
Sincerely,
Your Ordinary Average Guy
